Floral Work: Oils & Mixed Media

In this series of work, Julie wanted to illustrate the 3d effect of the flower petals and explored mixed media materials to best illustrate this.
Using her own technique, she shows the fragility of the petals and in contrast she uses the richness of the oil paints to capture the strong vivid colours of nature.
