Abstract Art Works

In this series of work, Julie has explored a variety of mixed media.
She starts the process using a layering collage effect and then contributes further to the layering by adding paint, stencils, crayons and pencils.
The final touch is the metallic work, embellished with a selection of ribbons, lace, buttons and different materials.
Her choice of materials is totally dependent on the message she wants to convey and how she envisages the artwork.
Only then can she finally decide on the title of the piece.
